Art Alert: First solo exhibition of Egyptian artist Ahmed Lesi at Cairo's Mashrabia Gallery

Egyptian artist Ahmed Lesi will hold his first solo exhibition at Mashrabia Gallery of Contemporary Art, starting 27 October until 28 November.

Titled 'Please enter my inner space', the exhibition "addresses the concept of space meant as a reservoir of thoughts, emotions and intuitions that form and attract people’s imagination," Mashrabia Gallery's online information reveals.

Lesi is a Cairo-based visual artist interested in pop art whose works sarcastically depicts daily Egyptian life.
