Art Factory five-hour sale to raise funds for street art fairs

Townhouse Gallery will hold a five-hour art sale on Sunday 18 March, to donate half of the sales to El-Fan Midan street fairs

Through its Art Factory Sale initiative, Townhouse Gallery announced it will raise funds to support El-Fan Midan, which aims to make art a part of people's daily life by engaging residents in art fairs in the streets and midans (squares).

'Art Factory Sale' is a five-hour sale at Townhouse Gallery, where more than 60 art pieces of Egyptian artists, including Mohamed Abla, Hani Rashed, Shadi El-Noushoukati, Hamdy Reda, Moataz Nasr, Omar El-Fayoumi, Shaymaa Aziz, Mohamed Menissy, Amr Fikry, Suzy El-Masry, Houreya El-Sayed, Yasser Gerab, Ahmed Magdi, Assem Sharaf, Britt Ghali, Maher Diab, Reda Abdel-Rahman, Emad Abu-Grain, Sameh Ismail, to name a few. 

Townhouse Gallery confirms that half of the proceeds of its Art Factory Sale will support El-Fan Midan, Egypt’s biggest and fastest growing cultural street fair in 12 Egyptian cities on the first Saturday of every month.

El-Fan Midan will celebrate its first anniversary on Saturday, 7 April.
