Norwegian artist Britt Boutros Ghali opens her exhibition 'Transformation' in Cairo on Sunday, 22 April, at 7pm in the Picasso Art Gallery in Zamalek, Cairo.

Ghali has held dozens of exhibitions all over Europe between the 1960s and the end of the 1990s, and since 1999 has been regularly exhibiting her art work in the Picasso Art Gallery.

'Transformation' is about women. Large colourful canvases include abstract paintings that mix the energies of the women of the revolution.

"It is about the women who set the red line," Ghali told Ahram Online.

Programme:

The exhibition will open Sunday, 22 April, and will run until 15 May.

30 Hassan Assem Street, off Brazil Street, Zamalek

Opening hours: 10.30am until 9pm (except Sundays)
