Art Alert: Nile Art Gallery to launch solo exhibition by Egyptian painter Tayseer Hamed

The upcoming exhibition is titled 'Rehla' (Journey)

Cairo's Nile Art Gallery announced the launch of a solo exhibition by Egyptian painter Tayseer Hamed.

Titled ‘Rehla’ (Journey), the exhibition will open on Sunday 14 February.

Born in Cairo in 1955, Hamed graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts of Helwan University, Cairo in 1978.

He held numerous exhibitions in Egypt and in the Arab region.

In Egypt, he held solo exhibitions in the halls of the Cairo Opera House, the Cairo Museum of Modern Art, the Saad El-Khadem and Effat Nagui Museum, among others.
