PHOTO GALLERY: 'Arab Express: The Latest Art from the Arab World' at Mori Art Museum, Tokyo

Featuring 34 artists, 'Arab Express: The Latest Art from the Arab World' is a diverse exhibition that reveals contemporary Arab culture to a Japanese audience

1. Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige Postcards of War (from the Wonder Beirut series)

Held between 16 June and 28 October 2012 at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Arab Express brings contemporary Arab painting, sculpture, photography, videos and installations to Japan for the first time.

The project, which was curated by Mori Art Museum director Fumio Nanjo and Kenichi Kondo, features works by four Egyptian artists, including revolutionary martyr Ahmed Basiony.
