Over 3 days starting 16 March, the French Institute in Cairo is will be holding a series of screenings, Le Cinema de la Francophonie (The Francophone cinema), showing three internationally acclaimed films of French production.

The films include productions from Egypt, Morocco, France and Chad.

Monday 16 March: On The Edge, directed by Leila Kilani.
2012, Fiction. French/ Moroccan production

Tuesday 17 March
Laurence Anyways, directed by Xavier Dolan.
2012, Fiction. Canadian/ French production

Wednesday 18 March

Special screening with presence of the director, Nesrine Lotfy Elzayat- Al Tawb Al-Aswad (The Black Dress). 
2013, Short documentary portrait. Egyptian and French production.

A Screaming Man, directed by Mahamat-Saleh Haroun.
2010, Fiction. Chad and French production.

All films have English subtitles.
All screenings start at 7 pm.
