Tareek Moghlak (Road Closed), a documentary by filmmakers Abdallah Khaled and Shady Nour that reveals exclusive previously unscreened footage of the demonstrations that took place on 15 May in front of the Israeli Embassy, will air tonight on Tahrir Channel.
It will be broadcast during the show Fil Meedan (In the square), presented by journalist and writer Belal Fadl.
The documentary shows the violence that was used against the protesters and the arrests that took place. Abdallah Khaled, one of the filmmakers, was among those arrested and shot footage of the arrest.
The television channel OnTV has refused to air it, while Al Jazeera has yet to decide whether or not to show the footage.
The documentary will also be screened on Thursday 16 June at the Center for Socialist Studies in 7 Mourad Street, Giza at 6.30pm.
