Samy Oxid El-Carbon and Sarkhet Namla make the highest revenues in the summer season

Despite the stagnation of the summer season in cinema this year due to political instability, Samy Oxid El-Carbon and Sarkhet Namla have received the highest revenues at the Egyptian box office

Samy Oxid El-Carbon (Samy Carbon Dioxide) has received LE5,006,000, while Sarkhet Namla (An Ant’s Cry) has received LE2,414,000 at Egypt’s box office.

Al Fagoumy, a biopic on the poet Ahmed Foad Negm, comes third on the list, making LE385,562.

Ezaaet Hob (The Radio Station of Love), which has been in cinemas for one week, has already made LE180,529.

El Feel Fel Mandeel (The Elephant in the Tissue), which was expected to be boycotted by many due to the false statements that its starring actor Talaat Zakaria has said on national television about the protestors, but has made LE395,000.

El Markeb (The Boat) has made LE614,970.
