Egyptian Actor Wael Nour dies of heart attack at 55

Egyptian actor Wael Nour died on Monday afternoon at his home in Agami, Alexandria, Ashraf Zaki head of actors syndicate said. 

The TV, film and theatre actor was 55.

The cause of death was a heart attack, according to the ministry of health.

Nour was born on 24 April 1961.

He earned a bachelor degree from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts.

Nour began his artistic career  in the 1970's as a child actor on popular daytime TV children's programs.

In the 1980's and 90s, he made a transition to teenage then adult roles

Among Nour's best-known work was the television series Al Mal wa Al Banoon (Money and Sons) and Al Bakhil w Ana (The cheap and I).

He also appeared and starred in several films such as Sanawat Al Khatar (Years of danger) and Al ehtyat wageb (precaution is mandatory).

His last film was Al-Laila Al-Kabira (2015).
