The award-winning German film "Goodbye Lenin," directed by Wolfgang Becker, will be screened at the Socialist Popular Alliance Party (SPAP)'s Cairo headquarters on Saturday, 4 February.
The film tells the story of a German family in the 1990s trying to cope with the recent fall of the Berlin Wall. The protagonists attempt to hide the unification of East and West Germany from their sick mother who was in a coma when the wall came down in 1989.
The film was nominated for a Golden Bear award at the Berlinale Festival. It was also nominated for a Golden Globe award.
The screening will begin at 6:30pm on 4 February at the SPAP's Cairo headquarters, located at 59 Abou Bakr El-Seddiq Street, Masr Gedida.
