The Gouna Film Festival hosted a delightful music night on Wednesday entitled ‘Cinema in Concert’ at the Marina Theatre in collaboration with the US embassy in Egypt.

The concert paid homage to the unforgettable pieces of music in film, conducted by Ahmed El-Saedi, the founder and chairman of the Egyptian Philharmonic Society, with soloists Janet Sung (Violin), Federico Mondelci (Saxophone), Victoria Kapralova (Violoncello) with the vocal performance of Amina Khairat.

‘Cinema in Concert’ was divided into two sections; ‘Hits of Hollywood’ and ‘Homage à Nino Rota,’ celebrating the works of Federico Fellini and Luchino Visconti.
