The Egyptian promotional and distribution company MAD Solutions has said that its Arab Cinema Centre (ACC) participated in the 3rd Global Content Bazaar, Mumbai, India, which took place on 7 and 8 February.
The ACC wing includes two of its partners: The Imaginarium Films and MAD Solutions.
The non-profit organisation is registered in Amsterdam and serves as an international promotional platform for Arab cinema. The Arab Cinema Centre was cofounded by Maher Diab in 2015.
The ACC provides the filmmaking industry with a professional window to connect with their counterparts from all over the world through a number of events that it organises.
It also provides networking opportunities with representatives of companies and institutions specialised in co-production and international distribution, among others.
The ACC's activities vary between film markets, stands, and pavilions, networking sessions and one-on-one meetings bringing together Arab and foreign filmmakers, welcome parties, as well as meetings with international organisations and festivals, and the issuance of the Arab Cinema Magazine to be distributed at the leading international film festivals and markets.
Established in 2010, The Imaginarium Films was launched with the aim of developing original audiovisual content that attracts audiences, and over the years, the company has been able to develop and produce many award-winning international and Arab films, in cooperation with producers from all over the world.
Global Content Bazaar is the international platform for the content industry in India and comes alive every January to introduce the latest developments in the content industry in the field of television, radio, all genres of film, music, mobile applications, and video games.
