Libya film festival invites entries

Mediterranean International Film Festival for Documentaries and Short Films in Tripoli, scheduled for 11-18 June, issues call for submissions

A film festival hosted by the National Transitional Council and the Libyan Ministry of Culture and Civil Society, scheduled for 11-18 June, has issued a call for submissions.

Festival categories include: documentary film competition, short film competition, panorama documentary section and panorama of short fiction and special screenings (Arab Spring Revolutions Films). The festival will also host seminars and workshops.

Entries must be submitted on 35mm, super betacam, digital beta cam, or bal secam. Entries accepted for the competition must be less than two-years-old.

Films must be translated into English and preferably also translated into Arabic.
