Workshops by Tropfest Arabia short film festival to be held in Egypt

One of the largest amateur short film festivals, Tropfest Arabia, is open for submissions and is organising several workshops across the MENA region - two in Egypt on 3 and 4 May

Two film workshops organised by Tropfest Arabia - one of the largest short film festivals for amateurs - will be held on 3 and 4 May in Cairo and Alexandria, respectively.

The workshops will be given by two of the finalists from last year's Trofest competition, as well as the Egyptian filmmaker, Tamer Ezzat.

Tropfest Arabia awards will be held in Adu Dhabi, October 2012.

Workshops will include basic information on filmmaking as well as requirements for Tropfest submissions.
