Sahra, an established Egyptian Rai band, will hold a concert at Bibliotheca Alexandrina Small Theatre, Alexandria

Over the past few years,the Sahra band, also known as Sahara, has been performing in a variety of Egyptian venues and the circle of their fans has grown significantly. The band plays Rai music which they believe to be a genre "close to  Egyptian's hearts."

The diverse backgrounds of the musicians  allows them to add a variety of personal and musical preferences to their music.

“We present Raï as a very simple, modern sound,” the band states on their website.
