Art Alert: Arabic music concert at Cairo’s Beshtak Palace

Mohamed Shatta will be performing some well-known Arabic songs

A Youth of Arabic Music concert will be held at Cairo’s Beshtak Palace on 25 January.

The concert will be led by singer Mohamed Shatta, first place winner of the Golden Voice competition annually held by the Cultural Development Fund.

Shatta will be performing popular classics in Arabic music, including Ya Mesafer Wahdak by Mohamed Abdelwahab, Ebaatly Gawab by Sabah Fakhri and Aaly Gara by Oulaya al-Tunisiya, among others.
