Art Alert: Spring comes to Cairo with violin and soprano

In one of the first concerts marking begnning of spring, the violinist Yasser Elserafi and soprano Dalia Farouk will perform together at the Cairo Opera House, joined by David Hales on piano.

Dubbed 'Spring Concert', the evening will include compositions by Debussy, Elgar, Sarasate among other.

Both soloists are members of the Cairo Opera House troupes: soprano Dalia Farouk is a member of the Cairo Opera Company while the violinist Yasser Elserafi is the concertrmaster of the Cairo Symphony Orchestra.
