Art Alert: Egyptian band Eftekasat to bring back old line-up for 'reunion' concert

Egyptian oriental and contemporary jazz band Eftekasat will appear at Elsawy Culture Wheel in Zamalek on Friday for a reunion show which will see old members brought back together.
 
The band will line up old members for the night, including Hany Bedair, Ousso Lotfy, Samer George, Amro Salah, Amr Khairy and Hany ElBadry.
 
Eftekasat, formed in 2001, have performed at festivals all over Egypt and abroad in North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, performing songs from their two successful albums Moulid Sidi El Latini (2006) and Dandasha (2010).
 
They gained wider fame with their permanent participation in the Arabic edition of Saturday Night Live TV. Band members have also gone on to work with other bands and on other musical projects.
