The Aswani musician blends blues with contemporary sounds

Musician Mostafa Rizk will be performing at Darb 1718 on 28 June.

Aswan-born Rizk moved to Cairo to study fine arts, before focusing on music, and exploring various music and singing styles, settling on the oud as his preferred instrument.

His album Bab El Louk, released in 2014, offered a fusion of blues in an Egyptian and contemporary style.
