Egypt's renowned singer Marwa Nagy gave a concert at the Cairo University's grounds earlier this week.
The concert was part of the 16th Science Day, an annual event held by the university on 21 December.
Nagy was accompanied by the Arab Music Ensemble under the baton of Maestro Alaa Yassin, presenting a selection of her best known songs including Habet Mn Albi (I Loved From My Heart), Alf Leila (A One Thousand Nights), Enta Omry, Sahar El Laialy.
Nagy expressed her great pleasure in singing within the Science Day ceremony and in the University events' hall as "an important beacon of knowledge and scientific advancement."
She also thanked Muhammad Othman Elkhosht, the president of Cairo University as well as all other professors and university students gathered during the celebrations.
