Ali Al-Abady and Otaak Band are releasing their new album Dunya Al-Ushaq (World of Lovers) this weekend.
Egyptian folk singer Al-Abady has paired up with American producer Miguel Merino with a variety of percussions, lyres and harps to create the completely acoustic album that discovers different approaches of the sonic ranges their instruments provide.
The seven-song album recorded in Cairo was mixed and mastered by Grammy-winning Egyptian engineer Alaa El-Kashef and it is available on various audio platforms.
Dunya al-Ushaq features an arsenal of musicians including vocalists Abdo and Adel Mekha, bassists Andre Segone and Dony Felix, percussionists Bondok, Diaa Tas, Ramadan Mansour and Rozza.
