Massar Egbari's sound is a blend of alternative rock, jazz and oriental tunes, and their songs deal with modern societal struggles in Egypt.
The popular band’s name literally translates into “obligatory path” and correspondingly tackles the frustrations felt by millions of Egyptians through music.
Founded in 2005, the Alexandrian rock band has performed on stages across Egypt, and participated in a number of global music festivals.
