Egyptian blues group the Bluenotes are scheduled to perform on Wednesday, 12 September, at Zamalek venue El-Sawy Culturewheel.

The band was reformed back in 2010 under the name "Bluenotes Reformed", honouring the original Bluenotes Band that was formed in 1999 by Hatem Hossam, singer and harmonica player and who is still the front-man of the group.

Bluenotes' musical influence ranges from Mississippi blues, to upbeat Chicago blues, to white British blues.

Wednesday 12 September at 7pm

River Hall, El-Sawy Culturewheel, 26 July Street, Zamalek, Cairo
