NeoByrd is to celebrate the official release of his latest music album 'The King is Dead' with an upbeat music concert at Darb 1718 on Saturday 19 January, organised by Subspace.

The concert will feature international guest performances by singer and music producer Rachael Starr, Lebanon's beats pioneer Ceasar K, as well as Egyptian electronic music producer Hady Tarek. 

The album will also be released on iTunes and Amazon.

Wael Alaa, who performs under the stage name NeoByrd, is a 24-year-old Egyptian musician. In 2007, he won 3rd prize and a special prize in a competition organised by the legendary DAW 'Ableton Live'. He released his debut album, Transbyrd, in June 2011. Furthermore, his song 'My Sweet Heartless' was chosen by Ahram Online's Arts and Culture team as one of the top music videos of 2012.
