Bassem Youssef to host Egyptian rock band Massar Egbari Friday

Egypt's most popular political satire show 'El-Bernameg' will host Alexandrian band Massar Egbari this Friday

One of Egypt's most established rock bands is set to make an appearance on Bassem Youssef's popular political satire show 'El-Bernameg'.

Massar Egbari, founded in Alexandria in 2005, recently played two concerts in Alexandria and Cairo to promote their new album, which will be released soon.

The last segment of El-Bernameg often supports independent arts, hosting musicians from Egypt such as the Choir Project, the Percussion Show, Cairokee and others.

Programme:
'El-Bernameg' airs on CBC channel at 11pm on Friday 15 February
