In hopes of developing cultural dialogue among local artists, the Medrar organisation will host a 'Set of Experiences' on Thursday, featuring live music and screenings of video art projects.

Samir Nabil, a musician from Alexandria known as 'Object Obscure,' will perform on guitar.

Alexandrian filmmakers Emad Maher, Abdallah Sharkas, Islam Kamal, 'Icon' and Mamoon Azmyare, meanwhile, will join the event with screenings of video art projects inspired by the 'Experience' set.

'Set of Experiences' is one of multiple events hosted by Medrar, aimed at creating space in which emerging artists can develop their talents and promote intercultural dialogue.

Medrar is an organisation devoted to holding conversations on contemporary art between Egypt-based artists.
