Cairo Symphony Orchestra dedicates its special concert to Ziad Mohamed Saleh Bakir, who was shot during the revolution

Ziad Mohamed Saleh Bakir, a graphic designer at the Cairo Opera House, was shot dead during the 25 January Revolution.

Cairo Symphony Orchestra, for whom Bakir designed all printed material, will dedicate a special concert to his memory.

The programme will include a composition by Rageh Daoud, the Egyptian composer, To The Martyrs Of January 25, as well as Beethoven's Symphony No . 9 in D minor, Op 125 Choral.

Soloists of the evening are Iman Moustafa (Soprano), Jolie Faizy (Mezzo-Soprano), Hisham El Guindy (Tenor) and Reda El Wakil (Bass) with a Cappella Choir (Choir Master: Maya Gvineria)

The Conductor will be Nader Abbassi

The concert will be held on Sunday 20 March at 7:00 pm in Cairo Opera House Main Hall
