In Le Waqt ‘Oza (equivalent to “For a Rainy Day”), the writers of Doum Haky are to present experimental performances tackling their daily rituals, experiences and feelings, intertwined with many questions.
The Doum Haky group formed after the writing workshop Sheshet, led by writer Sahar El-Mougy and organised by the non-profit Doum Cultural Foundation.
Lewaqt ‘Oza is the group’s second performance after Ping Pong at Beyt El-Sinnary last December.
Seshet is one of Doum’s projects aiming to revive humanity’s oldest art form of storytelling.
Launched in 2012, Sheshet then developed in 2014 to offer small interactive performances.
