Grand Finale, a performance by the Danish group Batida, will be staged at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina on Tuesday, 29 March.
The event, organised by the Theatre is a Must forum, is about an orchestra that has been hired for a wedding party, but when the bridal couple is late the orchestra lives a life of its own, “which is anything but boring but rather shockingly tragic, outrageous, and touching,” reads the event press release.
Batida is a Danish touring company consisting of 10 musical actors with its own premises in Copenhagen. Since forming in 1985, the group has developed a theatrical form in which live music, movement and dance are vital elements.
