Screening of Pauline at Cimatheque, 7.30pm

Screening is part of Cannes Film Festival's ACID week in Cairo. Check the complete programme here.

Arabic Rock Concert with Malaaz and Khayal at El Sawy Culturewheel, 7.30pm

El Sawy Culturewheel, River Hall, end of 26th of July St, Zamalek, Cairo

Nile Symphony Orchestra at Saladin Citadel, 8pm

The orchestra will be conducted by Mohamed Saad Basha. The concert is part of the ongoing Citadel Festival for Music and Singing. Check the full programme here.

Cairo Celebration Choir in concert at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, 8.30pm

12th Elsakia Festival for Pantomime at El Sawy Culturewheel, 6pm

El Sawy Culturewheel, Word hall, end of 26th of July St, Zamalek, Cairo

Zambalek performance at El Genaina Theatre, 7pm

Zambalek  is a new performance by students at Al-Darb Al-Ahmar Arts School. The performance will be staged on each Friday throughout September. Read more here

Machine Eat Man live at ROOM Art Space & Cafe, 8pm

Machine Eat Man live is an electronic music act with the analog synthesizers.

Family day with culture at Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Indian Culture Day at El Sawy Culturewheel, 11.45am

The day will feature a traditional costume show, Nagada show, Pinga show and Indian food.

The concert will also feature Egyptian musician and founder of Eskenderella band, Hazem Shaheen.
