The first theatrical production of the Syndicate of Actors, a play titled Alaa El-Din (Aladdin), will be staged on Thursday at El-Nahar Theatre.

The musical is directed by Ehab Nasser, with a script written by Abdelrahman Samir, and is a take on the familiar Arabian tale of Aladdin.

Actor Taha Khalifa will be performing the title role of Aladdin, co-staring with Reem Ahmed, who will play Jasmine.

Rehearsals and preparation for the musical performances and dance routines have taken two months.

Programme:
Thursday 7 February at 6pm
El-Nahar Theatre, 22 Kasr El-Ainy St., Downtown, Cairo
