Dawar Arts will hold an evening of participatory forum theatre on 26 May.
Forum theatre a type of participatory theatre which springs from a relevant social or political issue and invites collaboration from audiences.
After a troupe of actors present the main skeleton of a play, there is an interactive session with the attendees, who can then transform the performance by doing things differently than the play’s initial characters.
This active roleplay aims to encourage positive social change, using theatre as a vehicle for activism.
