The upcoming Sharm El-Sheikh International Theatre Festival for Youth (SITFY) will hold five workshops tailored for young theatre practitioners.
The workshops will be on contemporary dance, led by Tilde Knudsen, on scenography, presented by Jean Gay Lecat, on musical theatre, led by Stas Namin, on acting techniques, by Alaa Kouka, and on play-writing, presented by Faisal Al-Qahtani.
The workshops aim to encourage and direct young talents into theatrical practice while providing them with a professional expertise.
The fifth edition of the festival will take place from 1 to 7 April, and aims to bring together young theatre practitioners, playwrights, and theatre academics from Egypt, the Arab world and the international artistic scene.
It being directed by Mazen El-Gharabawy.
