Egyptian minister of culture, Ines Abdel Dayem announced the launch of an awareness campain for coronavirus and other viruses.

The campaign is organised in cooperation with the health centres and General Organization of Cultural Palaces.

The campaign will hold numerous activities in the cultural palaces in many governorates aiming to help the public to gain more information about the viruses.

In an official press release, Abdel Dayem revealed that while the campaign reaches out to culture tools to raise awareness, it also relies on a wide spread cooperation between numerous bodies.

"The soft power of culture is one of the most important ways to spread positive messages and a step to create a solidarity between the national institutions for the benefit of the public," Abdel Dayem said.
