Art Alert: Egyptian cover band Jamma to play at 3elbt Alwan

The newly-formed Jamma Band, an Egyptian band that plays covers of Oriental songs, will perform at 3elbt Alwan on Saturday 23 March.

Jamma consists of Ahmed Monsif (percussion), Gamal Mosaad (violin), Abdel-Rahman Qorqara (bass guitar), Mostafa Zahed (vocal and oud) and Mostafa Mansour (keyboard).

They play covers of well-known music including songs by Fayrouz, Sayed Darwish, Ziad Rahbani, Sheikh Emam and others with new arrangements.

They are also working on producing their own music and songs.
