The Complex of Arts

“Memory of the Orient” show is the fourth in the series of “Treasures of Our Art Museums” group exhibitions. This show presents a rare group of the most important masterpieces of orientalists, which sheds light on an important historical period that has been seen in their works as Fatima painting by French Neoclassical painter Dominique Ingres, motherhood painting by Baby Martin, Nile painting by EugèneFromentin, shadow game painting for Théodore Frère, a popular wedding party painting of Narcissus Berkshire, and an Arab tribe head by French romantic artist Eugène Delacroixand many others(23 December-6 February).

“Fellini 100. The Book of Dreams”, exhibition of high definition reproductions of some pages of the “Book of Dreams”by Maestro Federico Fellini(Rimini, 20 January 1920 - Rome, 31 October 1993), on the occasion of the centenary of his birth. The images represent an intimate diary of Fellini's dreamlike, often rendered on film in the immortal images of Fellini’s filmography. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini, Cineteca - Archivio Federico Fellini and Francesca Fabbri Fellini.The “Book of Dreams”is purchased by the Fellini Foundation in 2006, donated to the Municipality of Rimini in 2015 and currently exhibited at the Museum of the City of Rimini, consists of two volumes containing over 400 sheets.The exhibition’s set upisby Paolo Vanino (20 January- 20 February).

Egypt’s 1st International Arts Forum features artworks by 150 artists including among many others Hisham Hamed Mustafa who is showing photography with computer editing, Alaa Abdel-Moneim, Esraa Tarek, Iman Aldeeb, Judi Gamal, Reem Ayman (Egypt), Ayad Haddad, Zein Azam, Maria Mustafa, Lama Khaldoun (Jordan), Ahmed Alnahas, Abu Obayda Ali (Sudan) and Gassem Alfadl, Kazem Saleh (Iraq), Esraa Kamel, Hadeel Aswad (Syria), Nazeer Naaema (Morocco) (21-29 January).

Future Gallery

A photo exhibition on Magda Saleh, Egypt’s first prima ballerina and on the art of ballet in Egypt. The exhibit features archive material about Saleh as well as stunning photographs of ballet taken by renowned photographer Sherif Sonbol.

The exhibition is open every day including weekends, from 10am to 9pm, except for university holidays (16 December- 31 January).
