Al-Tagamouaa Al-Khamis

King Lear, an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s masterpiece about the aging king of Britain who decides to step down from the throne and divide his kingdom evenly among his three daughters. Unable to believe that his beloved daughters are betraying him, Lear slowly goes insane and goes through a dramatic tragedy in his life. It casts Yehia Al- Fakhrany, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Nedal Al Shafei, Reham Abdel- Ghaffour, Heba Magdy and is directed by Tamer Karam

Small Theatre

The House of Ghosts, a play, presented as part of the 12th  National Festival for Egyptian Theatre, casts the first batch of graduates of “Start Your Dream” workshop. It is written and directed by Mahmoud Gamal Hedeni (Performances run daily, 10pm).

Mama, written and directed by Ahmed Al-Attar, the theatre performance Mama will finally have its Egyptian premiere.

Set in the bourgeois living room in Cairo, Mama is the director’s last play in a trilogy about family. In the living room, which protects family intimacy and welcomes visitors from the outside, and where the women dominate the scene, Mama exposes the complex layers of alternating relationships of power and the morality that generates it.
In Mama, El Attar, delves once more into the depths of the upper echelons of the Egyptian society, exposing the intricate power structures and balances within the family.

It casts Ali El-Sabh, Belal Mustafa, Dalia Ramzy Yanni, Hadeer Mustafa, Heba Rifaat, Magdy Atwan, Menha El-Batraoui, Menna El Touny, Mohamed Hatem, Ramsi Lehner and many more.
