The cultural activities have started gradually to reopenin the country.The reopening has included theatres, museums, galleries, national circus, which operate under the culture ministry. In its first stage, the resumption of activities will be open at only 25 percent audience capacity across all venues

Fri 14, 8.30pm: Songs by late composer Baligh Hamdy will be performed by the musical troupe, conducted by maestro Farouk Al-Bably.
Tues 18, 8.30pm: Forsan Al-Sharq for Heritage Company will perform their latest work, Raya we Sekina (Raya and Sekina), directed by Karima Bedair. The performance is about the famous serial killers, two women who, together with their husbands, robbed and killed many wealthy women in Alexandria in the early 1900s.
Cairo Contemporary Dance Centre
The Cairo Contemporary Dance Centre (CCDC) has decided to offer free online classes to encourage everyone to stay active at home. Classes vary between Contemporary Dance, Barre, Floor Barre, Yoga, Breakdance, Movement and Exercise, Pilates, Ballet, and nutrition advises. You can find all the classes on the CCDC’s YouTube channel.

BA Arts Centre’s festival (15-29 August) will see strict safety measures to avoid the spread of coronavirus at the different venues of the centre. “This year, the festival will offer several artistic events. Stay tuned,” reads a statement on the BA’s website.
