Scotland's Bobby Williamson has been named as the new Kenya coach, succeeding Belgium's Adel Amrouche.
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) chose the Gor Mahia FC coach and ex-Uganda Cranes trainer to lead the Harambee Stars after they failed to qualify for the final round of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations in Morocco in 2015.
Kenya sacked Amrouche this week following a defeat against Morocco that ended their bid.
FKF President Sam Nyamweya told CAFonline that Williamson's technical staff's first assignment would be to prepare the team for the annual Cecafa senior challenge cup to be hosted in Ethiopia from November.
