Egypt U-23 manager Hossam El-Badry has announced a 24-man squad for next month's friendly games at Morocco as the Pharaohs gear up for the 2015 CAF Championship qualifiers.
El-Badry, who took charge of the Olympic team back in December 2013, has selected six players from Ahly and another three from Zamalek, ahead of the flight to Morocco.
Goalkeeper Mosaad Awad, Karim Bambo, Amr Warda, Ramadan Sobhy, Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan and Mohamed Hassan were all named from Ahly, as Zamalek trio Mostafa Fathi, Yasser Ibrahim and 'Bazooka' were also called up.
The Pharoahs will take on Morocco on 2 September and then again four days later.
The CAF U-23 Championship, which qualifies teams for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, will be held in Congo DR in December.
