Andy Murray advanced Sunday to the fourth round at the Miami Open by beating Santiago Giraldo 6-3, 6-4.
The No. 3-seeded Murray, who won the tournament in 2009 and 2013, improved his career record to 499-155. He's seeking his first title this year.
Murray lost only four points on his first serve and was broken just once - the first time he served for the match. Giraldo, seeded No. 27, fell to 1-22 against top-10 opponents.
No. 15 Kevin Anderson hit 12 aces and beat No. 24 Leonardo Mayer 6-4, 6-4.
No. 3 Simona Halep, who won Indian Wells a week ago, reached the women's fourth round by beating No. 30 Camila Giorgi 6-4, 7-5.
