Zamalek coach Jesualdo Ferreira has revealed that he is disappointed with his players' performance during their 2-0 win against lowly Ragaa on Sunday.

Whites striker Bassem Morsi opened the scoring in the 16th minute, then rising winger Mostafa Fathi secured the full points of the game in the 75th minute, allowing Zamalek to reach their 60th point of the league and edge closer to their first league title in 11 years.

"I don't agree with the players' performance during the game but I am happy with game's points as well as returning to the top of the table," Ferreira said after the game.

Zamalek bounced back to the top of the table, three points above ENPPI and two games in hand, while eight-time defending champions Ahly are third with 49 points.

Zamalek seemed to be struggling to reproduce their form, allowing the visitors to gain more possession in midfield.  They had recently returned from a Moroccan trip in the CAF Confederation Cup.

"The short time between games affected the players' performance and caused fatigue," he said.

"I will allow all players to participate in the coming games to rest some of them to be able competing in the competitions."

"We still have 13 games in the Egyptian Premier League as we intend to win the title, so we will deal with those matches as knockout games," the Zamalek coach concluded.
