Tunisian side Club Sfaxien managed a 1-1 draw with AC Leopards of Congo in the second matchday of the CAF Confederation Cup late on Friday.
Sfaxien failed to make the most of their Tunisian home advantage as they were shocked by a first half goal from Leopards' forward Cesaire Gandze to give the visitors an early lead three minutes before the break.
Alaaeddine Salah managed to score the equalizer for Club Sfaxien in the 50th minute to be 1-1 draw.
The hosts did their best throughout the second half time to snatch the game's full marks but their efforts were blocked by AC Leopards' defence.
Club Sfaxien are on the tail of the CAF Confederation Cup Group B with one point, two behind leaders Zamalek of Egypt and runners up Orlando Pirates of South Africa.
This draw eases the way for Zamalek and Orlando Pirates who will meet on Saturday to maintain in their places whatever the game's result finished the two sides have 3 points from their first game.
Club Sfaxien lost their first game in the group stage 1-0 to Zamalek in Cairo two weeks ago.
