Former Egypt star Mohamed Zidan has announced that he will return football soon after spending more than two years without a club.
Since terminating his contract with UAE club Bani Yas in July 2013, the 33-year-old has failed to find a club as his football career was put on hold.
But the former Borussia Dortmund, Hamburg and Mainz forward said on his Facebook page on Friday that he will resume his playing career. He did not clarify which team he will join.
Zidan has been capped 41 times for Egypt, scoring 10 goals as he helped them win the African Cup of Nations in 2008 and 2010.
