Egypt's coach Hector Cuper said on Monday he is deeply satisfied with his players' form ahead of their African Cup qualifier against Chad, adding that it will be difficult to name his line-up given the superb form of the whole squad.

The Pharaohs are preparing for Sunday's match at a training camp in Cairo where they have been since Monday. The match will take place in Chad's capital N'Djamena at 15:00 CLT.

"The players have performed excellently during the training camp," Cuper told reporters on Monday.

"It will immensely difficult for me to name the final squad that will travel - I am confused about it."

Cuper has named a preliminary squad that includes 27 players but he must reduce that number before travelling to the Central African country.

After comfortably beating Tanzania 3-0 in June in the group's only game so far, Egypt will be looking for a win against Chad to stay top of group G, which also includes Nigeria and Tanzania.
