After beating Chad 4-1 on aggregate in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Egypt kept their place in FIFA's monthly global football rankings published on Thursday, remaining in 57th place.

Egypt, who started their 2018 World Cup qualifiers campaign last month, are bidding for a place in the most prestigious tournament as they strolled into the final round of the qualifiers after Chad win.
