Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Ashour El-Adham has filed a complaint to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) asking to terminate his contract with the White Castle.

"I have only received 60 per cent of the season's salary," El-Adham claimed, insisting "all negotiations failed so I want to leave."

The 26-year-old was recently offered a move to Al Gouna but he postponed talks until his problems with Zamalek are resolved.

In another context, Egypt's captain, Ahmed Hassan, is yet to finalise his move to the Whites, with his financial demands still an obstacle to the deal.

The former Ahly midfielder is being chased by Masry of Port Said but he is giving another chance to the runner-ups of the Egyptian Premier League.

The Cairo giants have received a confirmation from Dar El-Maaref that they will pay the costs of Zamalek's centenary friendly match that is set to be held on 18 or 19 October against English side Liverpool.

Zamalek board are to meet Tuesday night to finalise all outstanding issues, especially after member Abdullah George quit his post after the club did not fulfill Hassan Shehata's demands.

"We will talk to George and we will make him stay as he is a very important member," Zamalek president Galal Ibrahim was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
