Athletics: Kenya's Kotut doubles up with Paris marathon victory

Reuters , Sunday 3 Apr 2016

Cyprian Kotut ran a personal best time of two hours, seven minutes and 11 seconds to win the 40th Paris marathon on Sunday, the Kenyan backing up the half-marathon title he captured in the French capital last month.

The event was held under tight security following the Paris attacks in November and last month's bombings in Brussels.

Kotut's compatriot Visiline Jepkesho won the women's race in 2.25:52.
