Medical tests have confirmed tha Ahly defender Sherif Abdel-Fadil will be out of action for four weeks with a leg strain.

Abdel-Fadil suffered the injury in Sunday's goalless draw with Algerian side Mouloudia Alger in the groups stage of the CAF Champions League. 

The Egyptian Premier League champions wasted a chance on Sunday to go top of Group B in the CAF Champions League after playing out a dull goalless draw with Mouloudia Alger.

Ahly are set to face Moroccan side Wydad on 11 September, five days before finishing the group stage matches by playing Tunisian side Esperance.
