Egyptian Football Association spokesman, Azmy Megahed, has that insisted US football coach, Bob Bradley, has already signed a contract to manage the Egyptian national team.  

“Bradley signed a two-year contract with the EFA to be in charge of the Egyptian National team until the 2014 World Cup in Brazil for 30 thousand euros per month,” Megahed told Ahram Online.

“The EFA chairman is still negotiating with Bradley about the assistant coaches,” he added.

It is expected that Bradley will be assisted by youth team coach, Dia’a El-Sayed, who will take the post of general trainer, Amr Abou El-Ezz, who will become the administrative manager, and former Zamalek doctor, Mostafa El-Mounaiery, who will take the medical manager position.

Negotiations are ongoing regarding Bradley’s goalkeepers coach, Zaki Abdel-Fattah, as the EFA thinks he is “exaggerating his financial demands.”

The EFA is to hold a press conference on Saturday to announce the official signing of the former Chicago Fire and MetroStars coach and his technical staff.

Bradley is succeeding the country’s long-time coach, Hassan Shehata, who won three-successive African Cup of Nations trophies but failed to qualify for the 2012 competition.

"I’m very happy and proud to coach Egypt, which boasts many talented players," Bradley told Egyptian media after sitting down with EFA chairman Samir Zaher on Wednesday.
